Great Lakes Suzuki Institute will be offering a summer Flute Retreat in Cambridge, Ontario from July 7-11, 2026. Please register by April 30 to confirm your participation; registrations will be accepted after this date provided our space can accommodate additional participants. Please email kewiflute@me.com to inquire.

Activities will take place in the afternoons. Teachers are invited to play in the daily group classes, observe the Suzuki-style shared master classes, and applaud the students in the informal solo recital. Teachers are also invited to participate in the community group performance and attend the faculty concert. An adult flute ensemble will be formed if there are sufficient participants.

Fees: $125 includes five days of active participation and observation; teachers of attending students are welcome to participate and/or observe without charge

Drop-in fee: $25/day

Private lessons: Private lessons can be requested for a fee of $30 per 30-minute lesson or $60 per hour lesson

Sept 2026-May 2027 Teacher Training Courses

All teacher training courses running between the months of September and May (2027) will take place online over Zoom. Participants are required to attend all course hours live to register the course. We do not offer asynchronous instruction.
